"Every time I've done something that doesn't feel right, it's the ended up not being right"
Mario Cuomo
Reflection: We have a conscience and if our conscience says somethings not right it isn't. For example if you and your friend are walking and there's a guy selling drugs and your friend buy's some and offers you some you're going to think " should I, or should i not try some." That little voice inside your head is fighting because it is wrong. We know whats right and what's wrong and making choices can effect us a lot. I know that if i touch a pot that has hot water its gonna be bad because i would burn myself. But i did it anyway and there was harsh consequences. Doing bad things isn't going to bring good to your life. Maybe a drug dealer might be doing something bad and still getting money but he has to live in fear that one day he might get caught. That's why we should choose the right.

Reflection: A
cytotechnologist studies
the human cells. They can tell when you have inflammatory and other diseases.
They study cells using microscopes. This position takes a lot of patients and
work because you have to keep using slides with cells and microscopes. If you
have an interest on human cells then this would be a great position.
I would like to
be a cytotechnologist because it seems interesting. Looking at different human

disease if someone has one to help cure it as well.

“Only I can change my life.
No one can do it for me”
Carol Burnett
Reflection:
No one can force you to do anything. No one can change your life either. The
choices that we make change our own lives wether they are good or not. For
example if I make a decision to do drugs my life would be terrible and I would
have the choice to go to rehab or not. If I make the good choice to go to rehab
I can change my life to become better and get out of the addiction. No one can
make decisions for us and no one can choose anything for us. Just like how they
can’t change our lives. Only we can. We have the power to make it good or bad
and one way to do that is by the decisions we make. We might make mistakes but
we should learn from them.

“Goodness Is the Only Investment That Never Fails”

Reflection: Doing good is never going to fail on us. When we
do good we get rewarded back in the future. Everything we did good during our
walk of life will come back to us in a great way. It’s known as a reward or a
blessing. It’s almost like investing money. You do many good things and save
the memories or whatever there is to save then you can use it to get something
in return. Doing good things will never fail us but doing bad always will. If I
do something good great things happen but if I do something bad my life will go
crazy and messed up. I know if I do good great things will happen to me. Being
good is harmless.

“A good name will shine brightly”
ANON
Reflection: Our name will shine bright if we choose the
right. For example when a celebrity decides to do something good their name is
all over the magazines and all over the news. The same thing can happen to us
if we decide to choose the right. If we do something good the people will see
how good we are. Our name will not be a word they don’t want to hear. Our name
will reflect on the way we are. Wether we are good or not. Our name will mean
something to people one day. Maybe one day our name will be up on the magazines
or something but we need to do the right things.

“There is no pillow so soft as
a clear conscience”
French Proverb
Reflection: If
we have a clear conscience we can live a great life. If we have a bad conscience
where we just hate people or do the wrong things they could come back and haunt
us. What goes around really does come around. If one does good things
throughout their life they can live a great life where they don’t have to worry
about being miserable. Choosing the right will give us an easier path through life.
Living in a conscience where there is guilt and a lot of bad and negative
things gives us a negative mind and it can make us want to do bad. We can’t
give up on life. It’s never too late to clear the conscience that we have. A
great way to think is positivity and if we have a clear conscience we would be
happy all the time.

Reflection:
We only have on life to live and we shouldn’t take advantage of it. As we live
this life that we only have once we should do anything we can to show good. The
world has enough bad already we should be the kind of people that want to do
good things. We only live this life once and if we do the good things then we
can be successful and have the life you want to have. The life that has been
planned out already since the minute you were born. If we choose to do the
wrong things we mess up the only life we have. If we don’t want a messed up
life we should do the right. There are two ways to go one way is the good way
one way is the bad way. If we pass our life the good way then we will have an
awesome life. Going the bad way will only mess you up.

“You have only always to do what is right. It will become
easier by practice, and you enjoy in the midst of your trials the pleasure of
an approving conscience.”
Robert E. Lee
Reflection: When we do what is right we have a clear
conscience and don’t feel bad at all. We can walk through our path feeling
great about ourselves because we know we are doing the right things and we get
to the top with a clear path. For example when you go to a party and there are
drugs and you know you shouldn’t do them but you do them anyway. If you go the
right way then you won’t feel bad about taking them and won’t feel guilty. But
if you take them you might go home feeling bad because you know you did
something wrong and you know your parents wouldn’t approve. Having a clear
conscience can really be good as we grow up. We should do what is right to get
to where we want to go. We should only do right. The only thing we should do is
right things and make right choices. The key to success is choosing the right.
