Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sonographers use sound waves to generate images that are used for assessing
and diagnosing various medical conditions. Most work with people who are
pregnant, their job is to see how the fetus looks in the womb. The technology
is used for diagnosing other kinds of medical conditions in the abdomen,
breast, heart, and blood vessel. They use equipment like X ray, MRI, CAT scans
and nuclear medicine studies.
Average Salary: $53,000-$75,000
Educational Requirements:
Sonographers
can train in hospitals, vocational- technical institutions, colleges and
universities and also the military, Some educational programs prefer applicants
who have experience in other health professions, while others consider high
school graduates with courses in math and science.

think I would like to be one. The job seems pretty interesting.
