             Clinical Laboratory Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

                    Clinical Laboratory Specialist include both Clinical Laboratory Technicians and Clinical Technologists. These professions are also referred as Medical Laboratory Technicians or Medical Technologist. Both technicians and technologists preform laboratory work to identify, diagnose, and treat diseases.

Clinical laboratory technicians use microscopes, laboratory equipment, chemicals and computers to preform laboratory procedures. They also collect blood specimens and prepare cultural media. They conduct tests and prepare reports for clinical technologist or physicians.

Educational Requirements:

                  Students who want to become chiropractors should take challenging high school science, math and English courses.

Chiropractors must complete a ten semester program in a chiropractic college after completing two years of college or junior college study.

Most states require that chiropractors pass a certification examinations before being granted a license to practice.

 Reflection: If you know what you are about to do or considering doing is not good then don’t do it. If there is gossip going around do not say it. They are just lies made by other people. Doing the wrong thing can make a big impact on your life.

Example: When someone creates gossip you are tempted to tell someone else what you heard. You know it’s wrong to go around saying lies. Instead of telling everyone don’t say anything. That would mean you made a right choice. Don’t say something you know is not true and don’t do it if you know that it is the wrong thing to do.

Summary: I think it was a very courageous thing to do for those 4 young men to be honest. They could have easily just robbed the store they walked into but they didn’t. Honestly I wish more human beings were like them because everyone now a days lies or just steals whatever they can steal. If I were those four young men I would have done the same or maybe just would have walked out the store and not have gotten anything. It is a really cool thing knowing that at least some people are honest. They choose the right direction. If they would have chosen the wrong they could have gotten in big trouble and gotten sent to jail or something but they escaped all that by making one good choice. This inspires me to be a better and more honest person.

Duties and Responsibilities:

        Chiropractors treat patients by manually adjusting parts of the human body, especially the spine. Chiropractors and their patients believe that problems with bone and nerve alignment can cause illness and problems in other parts of the body, a view not widely accepted by allopathic physicians and other traditional medical practitioners.

Chiropractors manipulate their patients’ spiral columns for treatment. They may prescribe specific diets or exercises, but not drugs. Chiropractors cannot perform surgery.

Most chiropractors establish a private practice and some provide home establish a private practice and some provide home treatments. Others form group partnership in clinics or chiropractic hospitals.

Average Salary: $30,000- $100,000
