Student Success Statement: Hippocrates

“A wise man ought to realize that health is his most valuable possession.”
                                                Hippocrates

Reflection: One of the things we have that’s a really great gift is health. We have a great lifestyle when we are healthy. Spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Every single are of our lives needs to be healthy, NOT PERFECT, but healthy. I mean imagine not being healthy emotionally. I have met some people who are emotionally unhealthy and I think it’s just the saddest thing to see them, always complaining about life and everything and being so bitter. That’s not healthy. Mentally we have to be healthy to because we can’t be so negative all the time, we need to reduce our stress and worries. Being spiritually healthy Is really important to, to me it is. I keep myself healthy like that by reading my bible because I need to feed my spirit everyday and grow fruit. It’s like watering a garden, but God is my gardener. And physically we need to be healthy, because that’s how we make it to live every single day. Health is a good feeling, after we finish having the flu we all feel a whole lot better and we actually feel good. Well that feeling is a healthy feeling, a sign you’re healthy again. And that feeling is beautiful. Now you see why it is important? Because it feels good, it makes us good, and health is a blessing. We wake up everyday, that is a blessing, God does not need us but he loves us so much he wants us. He wants us, his children to be healthy, and when we are not he is there to be our healer. Our God is a miracle maker. Be healthy.

Summary On John F Kenndy Physical Fintess Video.

Summary On John F Kenndy Physical Fintess Video.

President John F. Kennedy tells us in the video that he wants us to be a part of phyisical fitness. He cares about it becasue he wants us to live a long life, he wants us  all to live a longer life. He explains to us why physical fitness is so important in our lives and how he thinkis it importanat that all students and children and adults come together and be physical. He wants to see improvement on this becasue he wants us to live longer. Being healthier means you live longer. I want to be healthy and live a long life as well but i can't do that if  i don't stay healthy and active because if i just sit around and do nothing but sit and sleep and be lazy im not going to get anywhere in life and my body is going to get so used to doing nothing that i cant even walk a long time without getting tired or weak and who knows maybe it might fail on me.
I promise to myself that iw ill never drink, never do drugs, and eat everything my mother makes me for dinner. Myabe it's hard for me to do great in my P.E class becasue i'm not that much into phyisical fitness myself but i will try my best so that i can stay healthy.

Student Success Statement: John F. Kennedy

                                             Student Success Statement
"Physical fitness is not the only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mindis subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know that the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."
                        President John F. Kennedy

Reflection:  We have to be healthy in order to do what we want to do in the future. We all have great intelligence and potential and we all have our own dreams for a purpose that only God knows. Physical fitness is not something people should do just to loose weight and stuff but to also have a healthy body and to be able to have our body be activated. We only have this body for a short time and we only stay down here on earth once, we have to be healthy in order to do what we want. How are we supposed to follow our dreams if we are just laying down on the couch, or if you don't take care of your body how are you supposed to do the things you want to do when you're sick? We can't do amazing things from our death bed. Skills come from physcial fitness, like we can become really fast runners and that can be our skill. We can become really strong that can be one to. It's a source of creativity where you use your arms, your legs, your entire body to do what you want to do. When you're painting a picture you're using your arms, when you're dancing on stage you're using your legs, when you're readin and writing you're using your brain. We use our body for everything we do. Be physiclly active and you won't just be healthier but you will gain many skills and a huge amount of creaitivty.
