Student Success Statement: Charles Kendall Adams

                      Student Success Statement
“No student ever attains eminent success by simply doing what is required of him/her; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction.”

  Charles Kendall Adams, American Historian
Reflection:

As high school students some of us have big dreams. Some people may want to become a doctor or a vet or possibly a singer, whatever it is. We can try our whole lives doing what it is to reach that dream and make it come true but really you can’t just expect to do it and BOOM your dream comes true. It’s what’s after we do the required job that counts. For example the school requires us to wear uniform and suppose I do wear my uniform and act badly in school. I’m doing what is required but after all I’m still not doing well. We have to try our best to do everything great. We can’t expect to be well known if we just do what Is told we have to do it right. Singers, actors, dancers they are all required to do something but they have to do it right. An actor is required to repeat the line on the script for the movie but he has to do it right in order for the movie to be great in the end right? We all are greatness waiting to happen. We should start doing what we were made to do. We all have a purpose.
