Environmental Health Specialist- Sanitarian
Duties and Responsibilities:
Environmental health specialist is a person who is qualified to plan, organize,
manage, implement, and evaluate one or more programs in areas compromising the
field of environmental health. Areas include: food, beverage, and lodging sanitation.,
swimming pools, collection of samples for laboratory data, and enforcement
actions.
Average Salary: $35,000- $120,000
Educational Requirements:
A
degree in baccalaureate is required in environmental health and sanitary
science, sanitary engineering, or other things related to the field. Also you
have to have at least one year of supervised employment provided by a
registered environmental health specialist/sanitarian.
